SSP, LMHC, RPT-S
Licensed School Psychologist, Licensed Mental Health Counselor, and Play Therapist Supervisor.
She is fluent in both Spanish and English and has over 30 years of experience in psycho-educational assessments, play therapy, and mental health counseling in both the public and private sectors.
She began her career as a school psychologist in the late 1980’s in the Miami-Dade County Public School System (MDCPS). She recently retired from MDCPS after more than 30 years of service but continues her thriving private practice in Pinecrest, Florida.
Cary has remained an active member of several professional organizations serving on the boards. Presently, she is the Chair of Professional Development on the Dade Association of School Psychologists (DASP) board, a member of the National Association of School Psychologists (NASP), Florida Association of School Psychologists (FASP), American Mental Health Counseling Association (AMHCA), Florida Mental Health Counseling Association (FMHCA), Association for Play Therapy (a4pt), and the Florida Association of Play Therapists (FAPT).
Currently, she resides in Miami, Florida. During her spare time, she enjoys the Arts, volunteering in Elder Care, traveling, and spending time with her family.
